Victorian Daniel Rochford will start on pole position for tomorrow’s opening Pro Light (KF1) final at the CIK Stars of Karting Series presented by Castrol EDGE in South Australia.

The Kosmic driver won two of his three races today aboard his R.J. Garage Doors entry before finishing fourth in the final 20-lap encounter.

“The Kosmic kart was really working well today.
I qualified on pole position by a tenth of a second in the shootout and had a couple of good wins,” said Rochford.

“We changed a few things in the set-up of the kart in the final race which didn’t seem to work but the good thing is that we have learnt from those changes and that will put us in a better position tomorrow.”

Joining Rochford on the front row for the opening 34-lap final tomorrow will be JAM Racing’s Adam Hughes(Kosmic/IAME)  and Kosmic NSW Team's Matthew Waters (Kosmic/IAME).

2010 champion Cian Fothergill (Kosmic/IAME) would have been starting on the front row, if it wasn’t for a weight infringement in the final heat race. As a result, he will start sixth tomorrow morning.
